Background
Due to vacancies and changed tenant requirements, the spaces in a section of a shopping center had to be redesigned and re-planned. Part of the planning goals was also to improve the structural/technical condition.

Approach
New space concepts were developed and coordinated with the tenants. During the construction phase, the safety systems (e.g., sprinklers) were also adapted to the changed requirements and regulations. Furthermore, the heating system was partially converted to heat pumps.

Outcome
Through the redesign and technical upgrades, the property has become attractive to new tenants, and the range of offerings can be expanded. This increased the attractiveness of the overall location.
