The REIT acquired a value-add portfolio of 750 m € comprising nearly 300 predominantly office properties in Germany. There was no local asset management platform in place at the time of purchase.
As Head of Asset Management and Managing Director (“MD”), Anne Braun built up the local team and put in place structures and processes, creating a solid basis for the REIT’s growth and supporting its value-add management of the portfolio.
As a result of the active asset management, the portfolio’s key operating indicators, including NOI + NOI margin, occupancy rate and tenant loyalty, continued to improve.
The growing team, which gradually expanded to 50 employees, adapted to the growth and transformation of the portfolio which tripled in size within a few years as a result of selective acquisitions and dispositions of non-strategic real estate.
